House M.D. Episode Synopsis

A twelve-year-old boy is admitted to the hospital with a fever and a suspicious rash. What seems like a case of pneumonia spins into something much more difficult to diagnose because it could be allergies, Anthrax, an autoimmune disorder...or something even worse.

House M.D. Episode's Best Quotes

    • House: Oh, you never run out of thingies...like that blonde thingy you were chatting up.
Dr. Wilson: She's the hospital accountant! We were going over billing procedures!
      House: Double-entry bookkeeping?!

    • House: (talking to a Vicodin pill) There you are. Were you scared? It's okay, you're home now. (swallows it)

    • Dr. Wilson: Oh, this is where I give you advice and pretend you're going to listen to it. I like this part. Did Rowan ask you not to tell?
House: I promised I wouldn't. My fingers were crossed, so I'm wide open.
Dr. Wilson: I was wrong – this is the musing out loud part. Do I actually need to be here?

    House M.D. Episode Trivia

    • Cutaneous anthrax, or an anthrax infection through the skin, is the least lethal of all three forms (with a comparatively low 20% non-treatment mortality rate), compared with inhalation anthrax (near 100%, even with treatment), and gastroenteric anthrax (25-60%, depending on how quickly treatment is begun)
