  • Paralysis in her leg

House team's rule violation(s) / ethical breaches: House lies to the transplant committee to get Carly on the list. Turns out she has caused the heart failure by taking ipecac which is an "exclusion criteria".
House's "Aha!" moment:
POTW final diagnosis: Carly has severe congestive heart failure caused by her high-powered bulimia and using ipecac to make herself throw up. She needs a heart transplant.
Other / clinic patient(s): A young boy with a sore throat has a father who hasn't been able to talk since he had knee surgery. House is intrigued by how the knee surgery resulted in him not being able to talk.
