A meningitis outbreak occurs at a local swim meet, creating havoc in the hospital. When House treats a 12-year-old diver whose symptoms are similar to, but not quite the same as the others, his team must devise creative ways to treat her amid the chaos. Meanwhile, with Vogler now gone, House asks Cameron to return, but she will do so only if House agrees to an unusual request.

Cameron will only come back to work if House agrees to take her on a date.
