House puts a well-known medical researcher through a battery of tests to determine why he collapsed in his lab. When the team is unable to diagnose the problem, the doctor asks the team to help him end his life. House is forced to use his cane again after the ketamine has worn off as he deals with a clinic patient's teenage daughter who has a crush on him.

House begins to use his cane once again.

Cameron kills a patient.

House Episode Trivia

An Exorcise Stress EKG would not show how strong the heart is beating. They should have used an Echocardiogram for this.

After the X-Rays, the team repeatedly referred to fluid in the lungs (Pulmonary Edema), but this would not show up on an X-Ray.

Thoracentesis is a procedure to drain fluid from the cavity surrounding the lungs (Pulmonary Effusion), not to remove fluid from within the lungs (Pulmonary Edema) as stated in the episode. The two terms are very similar - Pulmonary Edema (within the lungs) and Pulmonary Effusion (around the lungs).
