Will someone who knows this bit of canon straighten out this section? Whose infection? Is the janitor actually a doctor? He learned many different languages and discovered his vocation after a friend was injured while rock climbing and got a serious infection. Gregory was only cured after they brought in the janitor who was actually a Buraku, one of Japan's untouchables.
