User name: csinut Favorite character:	House Spoiler: House returns this fall with a feature length premiere episode, and Hugh Laurie reveals that instead of the usual two-month time lapse between seasons, the first episode picks up just days after House checks himself in at the mental institution. “It’s been rather harrowing,” he says of his character’s journey. “It’s been a very dark and challenging experience but a good one. He’s a character seeking redemption in some way or another, and I think there’s always a glimmer of hope, but it is a dark place to start. It’s a character going through a very traumatic experience.” Laurie, who has completed three episodes of the sixth season, isn’t sure how soon House will be able to practice medicine. “I don’t know,” he admits. “I’m operating in a consultative capacity at the moment. His license is suspended, as it would be, and has yet to be given back.” While waiting for his license to be reinstated the doctor is simply trying to behave. “House is trying to keep himself in check and curb his acerbic tongue. How long that will last, remains to be seen. I have my doubts.” And despite the imagined sex scene between House and Cuddy, not all of House’s hot’n’heavy moments are imagined. The make-out scene with Franka Potente in the asylum, for example, “That is real,” says Laurie. I have been working a lot and there are things that happen to House very early in the season that have a domino effect on all of the other characters.” Those “things” involve a shake-up at Princeton Plainsboro that finds Foreman filling in for an ailing House as the hospital’s top doc. The transition is rocky to say the least. “Cameron was always very close and protective of House,” she says. “And to have her mentor be away in an asylum makes her contemplate life and career and him. Poor House even follows Cuddy to a medical conference to try to get closer to her, and that's when he finds out about the other man. Taub (Peter Jacobsen) will be back on House's team before you know it. Episode eight features a medically interesting porn-star case that House uses to seduce Taub and Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) back to the team. Taub plays hard to get for a while, but the whole team (sans poor Jennifer Morrison's Cameron) should be back together full-time come November sweeps. It’s the news Cameron and Chase fans have longed to hear: After two years spent mostly on the sidelines, Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer will be back in the trenches on House this season.

“They are both thrown back into their old jobs,” Morrison told us at last night’s Teen Choice Awards. “It’s been great actually. I have been working a lot and there are things that happen to House very early in the season that have a domino effect on all of the other characters.”

Those “things” involve a shake-up at Princeton Plainsboro that finds Foreman filling in for an ailing House as the hospital’s top doc. The transition is rocky to say the least. “Cameron was always very close and protective of House,” she says. “And to have her mentor be away in an asylum makes her contemplate life and career and him. Having him gone affects everyone he works with, personally and professionally.”

An Idea that may be the real spoiler

@ Andykavros - looks like season 6 starts this Sept.

And now the idea - what I think may be happening...

Remember when Amber died from the bus accident - it was a two part episode (so to speak) - remember how house kept hallucinating - at first it was of an unknown woman - and even at one point it was Cuddy ( in a schoolgirl outfit ;) - and then when he gets closer to the truth he hallucinates Amber herself - only to discover why she is going to die...

Well - there you have it - how House deals with unresolved issues - now the same thing is hitting him again - and then we see he even hallucinates Kutner - right before we see him being admitted to the psych-ward...

He is dealing with an unresolved issue - Kutner's death - and I bet he uncovers that Kutner did not commit suicide, but instead was murdered (as he first suspected).

so then the question would be by who...

my money is on Foreman - as Tuab would too obvious, given the way he was acting aftewr Kutner's death (with that little "secret" between him Kutner concerning one of the diagnosis and who really came up with it) - But Foreman - look at him, his whole career is on the line with how he slipped "Thirteen" the REAL medicine...

So - my suspicion is House figures out that Foreman killed Kutner - and that's what was driving him crazy...

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the first official House scoop of the new season: Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda has been cast as House's psych hospital roomie, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Miranda, best known for writing and starring in the Broadway musical In the Heights, will appear in at least two episodes beginning with the show's sixth season premiere this fall.
