I am in tears falling down my face.. Can't even see what I am typing...

House, I have been U fan every since the very first episode...

I did so much enjoy the show.. But I actually thought you would find out that he was murdered..

I hate suicide.. I know too many young boys from the town I grew up in that did this same thing...
I mean very young ...

House, I love U very much... I just don't like Kutner being killed off like this... I am very upset over this show tonite...

How many other people out there are as upset as I am...

I lost my daughter to leukemia 10 years ago and I hate death... Especially someone close to me...

This episode should get an award... I really mean that House... I realize it is just a show but honestly why something like this???

I have to admit that I tuned in about halfway into the episode, so when I discovered that he had committed suicide, I was LIVID. Not only is it a shame that one of the best characters on the show was written out, the whole episode seems like a cheap ploy for ratings...

The subplot with Mr and Mrs Meatloaf was a waste of my time and energy - I just wanted to know more about Kutner.

When I saw the episode I couldn't believe it. What really shocked me was how they killled him off so quickly. And Alston_Rousseau, I agree, it probably is just a cheap ploy for rations. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if the next 5-10 episodes revolved around Kutner's death, with a patient case in the background.

I'm very upset about all this. I have lost a friend to suicide 2 years ago and he was 19. Kutner reminded me of my friend. I cried while watching this. I'm upset that they killed off his character like that with no warning.

While deffinitely one of the saddest episodes I can remember...It was also one of the best, with the exception of the cheezy side plot of the patient. I think this episode could have done so much more, had it been focused only on Kutner. There really was no need for anything else. Kutner you will be missed!

I really liked Kutner!! I guess when House said that the man who killed Kutner's parents died two months ago said quite a lot...he felt he had nothing else to live for. All of the negative things House says about how things/people don't matter probably didn't help (very creative on the writers part)

I agree with most of the post about Kutner's suicide being purely for ratings but hopefully the writers will turn it into House realizing that he missed Kutner's quest for his life to have meaning and House feeling guilty and acting in some bizarre Houselike fashion and fall apart.

If Mr. Penn wanted to leave the show I think it was a good move to use a topic that is not spoken of enough. If it was suicide, and not murder, we should all be reminded that it is very real and we should pay attention to friends and family that need to talk. Just being heard can save a life. I hated to see Kutner's character leave, he fit in so well and will be missed very much.

A lot of suicides are sudden, that's what is so shocking to those left behind.

I had a close family member who committed suicide (also using a gun), and another who tried several times in various ways, and there were NEVER any signs of ANY problems before it happened.
That's the scary part about it, and I believe we may begin to learn the reasons why, later on in the show, as I just wonder if House may pursue it, until he knows exactly why it happened.
He was hurting from it, if you looked closely at his face, you could tell.
Maybe he has an idea of the internal pain Kutner carried and wasn't showing, as maybe he also feels it.
I'm going to miss the character, as he was so nice, and made the show more fun.

I was shocked by Kutner's suicide. As someone who has attempted this in the past, it brought back painful memories and also thankfulness that I didn't succeed. I went on to become a doctor. Please buy a t-shirt to make a contribution to NAMI.

Prediction: Dr K had a deep seated guilt surrounding the death of his parents, maybe as simple as the fact that they both worked long hours at the store to provide for a better life for him which led to their death or maybe something actually much more dark. The fact that he always attended the parole hearings of the man convicted of the killing and that he recently died should not be overlooked. There was a some connection much deeper than his desire to see justice served.

Maybe....Cuddy knows House so well that she is afraid that he will hold in his pain of Kutner dying that he may do something to himself, and she is afraid of losing him so her jealousy is her only way of acting out her feelings for him in public? I like the idea of the Ghost of Kutner. I can see House dealing with that. Interesting twist...

OMG! I was shocked! Kutner didn't deserve to die like this! A simple explanation became quite a challenge. It did not really seem so simple. It was a blockbuster episode in the sense that if you don't do death well; skip this episode. I found Wilson/Cuddy/House interaction tonight interesting. There was
still the tension between House and Wilson. Cuddy was as usual her intuitive self when it comes to House and how he reacts to all the deaths especially Kutner. The white board put a strange twist in tonights episode; jealousy; true motive for murder? suicide? Maybe Tritter can figure this one out. LOL.

I too will miss Kutner's role. I too think that he will continue to play a significate role in the series, even if he 'stays dead', as one might expect, yet the variables already having been set in place, and the creativity of the writers' in using this loss shall obviously define such. Is this possibly just another building block in a series of events designed by the writers to topple House over the edge[again], and peel away another layer of the onion? Such episodes.have been the most powerful episodes of the series, as was tonight's.

As totally apathetic and unemotional as he appeared regarding Kutner's death, it was obvious to Wilson, and I, that House was terrified, but perhaps that fear is much deeper than House loosing his 'edge', as Wilson perceived?

Rationale for these thoughts: "Here Kitty" and the grim-reaper cat's affinity for Kutner (sleeping in his backpack), Kutner's superstitions and House's venomous reactions toward such 'idiots'? Kitty also had taken quite a fancy to House [who seemed rather spooked by 'cat-nurse' closing argument as she was leaving the hospital. Must House now must prove to himself that Kutner's death was the willful act of man, or otherwise facing his own mortailty (and undisclosed fear thereof) will House be caught in yet another bend or break situation,(maybe Cuddy will again rescue him, and set the stage for both to love or lose)..just one of innumerable possibilities. Powerful, but very sad show...indeed...The writers should use Kutner's death in some very significant way, this was too simple and abrupt to be left as is...he was much too well-liked by the fans.

What is Fox Thinking,Kal Penn is one of the best actors on house, Fox has made a huge mistake cutting Kutner of the show, I really think this is going to have a negative impact on ratings, He was amazing on the show and my favorite character, Fox bring him back, Maybe an astrainged twin was the one who was murdered and Kutner is in hiding, Bring kutner back, Kutner and Gregory House are the show.
