Lisa Edelstein's bio: Lisa Edelstein began her professional acting career while studying theater at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She performed in a wide range of productions both on and off Broadway and authored and performed in the AIDS-related musical, "Positive Me," at Ellen Stuart's La Mama in Manhattan.
Lisa's first television experience was as a host of the cable series "Awake on the Wild Side." Since she has played a wide variety of roles for television: call-girl girlfriend Laurie on "The West Wing," David Conrad's sister Rhonda on "Relativity," the transsexual girlfriend, Cindy, of James LeGros on "Ally McBeal," and an Orthodox Jewish Woman losing custody of her child on "Family Law."
