For example,
1) They need to be sourced (I don't mean "other websites," I mean an actual URL.)
a) There ought to be a list of places that are considered 'valid' in terms of spoiler material.
b) Anything that is considered 'valid' can be marked as a spoiler; anything not from one of these sources can be marked as a 'rumor' or 'theory'.
If anyone has any criticisms of this idea, would like to add something, etc., please reply.

Excellent suggestion. I expect we'll end up with a very short list of actual sources and a long one for all the rumors and whatnot. We should also avoid heresay. For instance if some blog says "... TV Guide reports blah blah blah..." without a reference (issue, page number, etc) or a link to the story, we should treat it as a rumor unless someone can actually find the information. Merely quoting a valid source doesn't work.
