New PI, I got news!!!
Jul 4 2008, 8:39 AM EDT Oh, you've heard of him, Cuddy's new romance! Well's here's what I've heard (from another House related forum that apparently has always been right in it's spoilers!) He's going to be hired by the PPTH's administration, (yes, Cuddy) to do the dirty, messy work that House can't do, like searching patient's backgrounds or breaking into patients' houses... I'll explain. Cuddy propably thinks that he might get arrested for doing that so she hired a pro. He'll be a PPTH's employee for like 7 episodes and then he'll do a spinoff. A new serial, based on his character and private investigations. 10 out of 11 found this valuable. Do you? |

The story at http://www.sidereel.com/_post/9867 seemed credible although no-one could confirm or deny it. People there posted messages that expressed their skepticism and reservation at the whole idea. Someone even said "as long as this spin off plot does not ruin the original House MD show... i don't care what they do. i can eventually choose to watch or not watch this new spin off... but i will always be loyal to House." I like that. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 8 2008, 10:27 AM EDT This information sounds interesting. Of course I can‘t have a concrete opinion about all this, when I don‘t know the new character. Maybe I won‘t like him. But now I think that it is a perfect opportunity for Cuddy to have more serious relationship. And of course challenge for House (honestly I don‘t think that he‘ll accept this easily). It will be really interesting to see his reaction and actions he will take to destroy Cuddy‘s romance (no mater that I don‘t like jealous House). But I am not sure about his role. I mean that idea about new character replacing some House‘s traditional actions, doesn‘t sound interesting. Maybe that‘s because I‘m very used to those old methods (such as „Everybody lies. So lets break in and search for something, they will never tell us about“). I know that it is done just in case of protecting House, but I really liked that risk. And that spinoff thing sounds little weird and actually I can‘t say that I impatiently wait that new serial... 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 8 2008, 2:39 PM EDT Well this new character is only supposed to be on there for what 7 episodes so I think I will go out on a limb and say it aint gonna go over well LOL On either side--First of all House wont want to "work" with some one and secondly wheather he likes Cuddy or not he is going to drive her crazy 1 out of 1 found this valuable. I just hate to think that they'll mess with the House plot lines just to have this guy inserted, if not imposed, into the mix. Will the new guy add something valuable to the show? I have my doubts. Jul 8 2008, 10:45 PM EDT I can't see this to be considered a "HOUSE" spinoff. If he's a PI, he won't have anything to do with medicine or practice unless they plan on doing crossovers. This would also mean Cuddy gets her heart broken.... I guess if I had a choice, I'd take the spinoff as opposed to yet another reality show!!!! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 9 2008, 8:46 AM EDT Not to mention we have had other characters that have been on there for just a few episode(not a whole season) (Tritter for Instance) but I highly doubt that they will mess with plot that much--I think that they already have an idea of how the show will go and they would only bring in someone to add to that but not take away from it Do you find this valuable? |
