treatment for 52 year old female
Jul 21 2008, 1:57 PM EDT There is no cure for Sjogren's Syndrome but the treatment is as follows. The dry eyes can be treated just with cycloporene eye drops (to reduce inflamation), however if the pateint returns complaining about eye dryness ophthamologic sergery of the tear ducts. The mouth dryness can be treated with saliva stimulants, drinking plenty of water, and a recomendation of a humidifier in their house. Over the counter nasal sprays will treat the nose dryness. And finally prednisone will deal with the rest of the inflamation. Do you find this valuable? |
