HOUSE'S NEW CANE
Aug 16 2008, 9:52 PM EDT O! M! G! In the episode where House was in the bus accident, he lost his famous flame cane. HE GOT A NEW ONE! Its a light tan cane that looks like its made of maple wood. (Whatever wood is really light) House's flame cane kinda stood for his rude personality and fire in his heart. Could this be a sign that House is going to lighten up? Is he going to realize he has taken Wilson's friendship for granted? I don't know if I want House to be kinder and content with his life or to stay the rude, miserable guy we have come to know and love!!! 3 out of 10 found this valuable. Do you? |

Aug 17 2008, 10:32 AM EDT it's true that his flame cane suited him the best.the new one he has in the final episode of season 4 is just like his all actions in the situation with amber.that is not a cane he choosed ,he doesn't care if that one suites him or if he likes it,he just uses it in order to walk better.same thing with his decissions in amber's treatment:he agrees to froze her heart because that was wilson's preference,he refuses to warm her up although his team said it was the best hing to do ...... house is in a moment of his life where he is not the most important person for him and all he does is not to please himself but others.at least for one episode he changed Do you find this valuable? |

Aug 17 2008, 9:00 PM EDT Through the 4 seasons of House, he has already gone through about 4 to 5 canes for various reasons. Wilson filing through it while House and him lived together, when his physical therapist suggested he needed to, "rest his arm," and finally when he steals a cane from an old man in the hospital, Hector(Wilson's third ex-wife's dog) chews through his final "normal" wooden cane. All these lead to a new cane, but not a change in personality. His flame cane came about as a result of Hector chewing through his cane. House demands wilson to buy him a new one. So they go to an antique store(at least in appearance) and House demands something in, "Bitchin'," So the end result is his flame cane which, "Makes him look like he is going faster." House's canes are a large part of his life, but seem to have no metaphoric representation of houses personality or lifestyle. Do you find this valuable? |
