Aug 18 2008, 8:49 PM EDT What about the quote from the 4th season episode "It's A Wonderful Lie" with the woman whose hands suddenly paralyze and she has a daughter she doesn't want tested as a bone marrow match... Anyway the girl asks House whats the difference between white lies and comforting untruths. House responds "White lies are lies that we tell people to make them feel better, comforting untruths are lies we tell ourselves to make us feel better." - I'm not 100% that is the exact quote but you get the gist. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
