i liked the new episode very much .a bit surprised by wilson's change but i hope to get an explication on the episodes to come.house is just house.he hasn't changed but he was less funny than usual.in a way one can say that this is normal considering how the fourth season ended.but we will see in time how the characters will develop.

first let me just say that season 5 started off perfectly. In it's own way the show jumped formula again. Anyway, it turns out house's ratings are down 20% from last years premiere. Which got me thinking why. And I think I know. Two words: Writers strike. And for a while there was a threat of an actor's strike (still there is a small possibility, but nothing like the writer's strike). I think people don't want to invest in the season if it is going to get cut short again, but they already have ten episodes filmed. We are going to get a full season! Some people are complaining about cameron and chase not being in more, but come on it's one episode into the new season. I admit I miss them too, but I have a feeling we'll see alot more of them this season, have faith my fellow house fans. Have faith. One more thing, when Wilson said "House we're not friends anymore... I don't think we ever were." That mad me sadder than the death of Amber. House stood there vulnerable and remorseful, but Wilson rejected him. Still I can see why, and look forward to their reconciliation. But, don't expect a nicer house, we all have seen that in season three. Niceness doesn't fit him. Niceness on house is like a block of cheese on a viking's fan (I hate sports metaphors). 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"The show did run long by about one minute. I learned a long time ago to manually add a couple of minutes of recording before and after a show I want to record and I often recommend to people to do it too because this happens every now and then and not necessarily according to any set pattern. It can happen to any show on any network at any time. =)"ok, thanks, I'll have to check that out, didn't know I could do that...:) Do you find this valuable? |

you make a very good point House_17.i agree with you that we won't see a nicer house.now he has another drama in his life(the possibility of loosing wilson's friendship)and there's no way he will become more gentle to the people around him.he may show he cares about somebody else but he will be just as ironic and sarcastic and bitter as he was till now.and for me this is the way i want him to be .not miserable but still a" jerk"

Oh I agree completely! It wouldnt be the same if he caught "niceness" LOL It would drop more than 20% thats for sure. But I agree House17 I was def. more sad than when Amber died as well

Anyone else thinks House felt remorseful while still believing he did nothing wrong? Like he said, he didn't drive the bus or the garbage truck that rammed into it and he didn't prescribed the flu meds that Amber took and eventually caused the Amantadine poisoning. He did however strated the chain of events that led to her death by calling Wilson and he can't deny that.That said, I agree with House_17, justjosie and TiffanyQ. I don't see him starting to do volunteer work at the Uniter Way any time soon. =) Do you find this valuable? |

The ending was sad. He lost his best friend, I wanted to cry. But to know that House is going to continue to dog him his funny. He wont give up.

i do not consider him guilty of amber's death in any way.one may say that she was on that bus because of him but he didn't forced her to come pick him up .and he is definitely not guilty of anything that happened after her admission at ppth.that's way i agree with him when he said cuddy that it will be meaningless to tell wilson he was sorry.(this is my opinion)

I get why he said he was sorry and the look on Wilsons face when he told House that he didnt blame him for her death was just beyond words. But also he did everything in his power to save her

Good opinion, justjosie. I agree.He did do everything to save her, TiffanyQ. I mean, he let them drill holes in his head and short-circuit his brain then he solved the case. What more could he do? I would've stopped at the drilling part, personally. As I've said before, those last two scenes with House/13 and House/Wilson took the whole episode to a new level. Very powerful scenes and of course great acting by Olivia, Robert and Hugh. I rewinded and watched them three times over Tuesday alone and I'll watch them again this week. Do you find this valuable? |

"For me it was also sadder than Amber's death. I was so depressed after that episode, no mater that I understood that in a way Wilson was right. But when he left House in his office and I saw House's face after he listened all this I felt so sorry for him. All his life he was afraid of serious relationship, he didn't trust anyone. And finally when he understood the value of true friendship and said that he is sorry, Wilson rejected him:( I thought I was going to cry.. About House and niceness.. Like he once said "Niceness is a symptom":D Do you find this valuable? |
