First of all... sadly house did not win for best drama, and hugh didn't win for best actor. I'm okay though. In my opinion once a show wins an emmy, it can always hold that crown and not aspire to being something great. It has reached greatness. House md is the best show I have ever seen, dexter in a close second. I was kind of disappointed not to see hugh laurie at all, but for us fans tuesday is coming. And season 5 has only just begun! This will be the emmy season. I just know it. And if it isn't, at least we know how great the show is, and how great he is at playing house. Who cares if some big shot TV alums don't agree. We know that no one is better than hugh at doing what they do. Ah... how I love this show. It's sarcastically poignant, but poignant nonetheless. Do you find this valuable?

Now that I have written about the emmy results, lets talk house. Alright, so to wrap it all up in a little compacted pile: the end of season 5's premiere was amazing, and heartbreaking at the same time. Out of everyone on the show, their dynamic is the best. Sure we miss Chase, and Cameron, but if anything happened to house and wilson... well let's just say some tears would be shed. And by some tears I mean ALOT of tears.
At the end of the episode I found myself reeling, wondering if his claims were meant only to cut house. If they were never friends, and house only liked wilson to enable him and nothing more. Would have he risked surgery for a girl wilson had known for a few months tops? Even though house knew that his friend was drifting away, he tried all he could to save her. There was nothing else Wilson could have asked for. And also, house didn't feed her outdated flu pills. She did that on her own.
This may seem like I am bitter. Absolutely not! I can see why wilson is acting this way. Even though house and him have probably the most out of proportion friendship out there, they fit like a glove to a hand. Opposites attract. I honestly think that for the last four years of the show, wilson has been trying to change house not for house, but for him.
In his own way house is more needy than a newly born puppy. But, he hides it with sarcasm and self loathing. If you think about it, everything wilson attaches himself to has need. He can see that need in house, hiding underneath a very thick shell. But, he has been trying to break that shell for so long. Don't you think that finally he is realizing that maybe there is no helping house? There is no shell to be broken? I think wilson is realizing that house is "as God made him" as he said in an earlier episode. But, maybe the truth is house doesn't need to be helped by wilson, maybe wilson needs to be helped by house.

Couldn't have said better!:) I think, there is no need to write the same, because I have nothing to add.. All of us love this show and for us it isn't important if it wins emmy or not.. The most important thing is that we have House and new season just started:)))

I am going to say this now so you don't get the wrong impression: House is my favorite show! What makes it my favorite show is the way it is written and acted. I don't mind these new guys, but I really don't like that the executive producers are trying to slip in all this sexuality. If you want that watch Grey's Anatomy. That whole show is about who had sex with who; oh and a little medicine is involved.
The house and cuddy kiss is interesting, and I know it won't change their dynamic. But, now I found out that 13 is going to be making out with another woman. Usually I'd be all for two girls making out, but not on house. It just doesn't fit in. For the last four seasons we have had maybe six episodes where they show sex of any kind. Again, I don't mind sex on tv. But, I do on house. Especially when it's a character I don't prefer over Chase or Cameron.
House is still the same, and the season is early, I just hope they don't make it all about sex. I know some of you will think I am dumb for this, but seriously... house and sex/relationships don't go together. Maybe if it has to do with house. If you are going to have anyone, get Chase and Cameron in there. Give us some more of them. I know in my last post I said it is early in the season, but more things pop up about kisses and people getting together. I can't help but roll my eyes. Sometimes it almost feels like they brought in new people so they could sex it up. If they're doing that, I have a solution: Go Back to the Way Things Were. True house fans (such as myself) would rather see house wallow in self pity, than one of his team have sex, or even kiss someone else.
One more time, still it's my favorite show. But, there are things I miss about it. Adding more sex isn't going to fill those voids. Especially when it's with a character that isn't as interesting as Cameron, or for that matter Chase.

I've never been a big fan of Wilson. Well, at least not since the incident with Detective Tritter in Season 3. House risked his life for Wilson's girlfriend, and I don't think that Wilson would do that for House. So, in my opinion House was more of a friend to Wilson than Wilson ever was to House. Just my opinion. Do you find this valuable?

I see your point but I think that Wilson thought he was helping House. House has done a lot of stuff to Wilson and Wilson puts up with all of it, and is still the first person there to back House up or just listen. If Wilson's motives were not loyal he could have had House fired many times over..he doesn't he lies for him, covers for him, and tries to help him if that is possible. Their interaction is a huge part humor that you see in the show, when Wilson was gone you have to admit that thay couldn't come up with any other character that had the chemistry that these two do.

Hello. I'm glad that Wilson is part of the show. And I agree with many viewers that you can't have House without Wilson. I love their conversations, and you're right that their interaction is a huge part of the humor that one sees in the show. But, to give an example: In season 3, Wilson ratted House out to Detective Tritter. I think half out of greed, and half out of fear. True, it was acceptable. But it goes deeper than that. Wilson is constantly criticizing House. Constantly. Wilson has a big ego, and always has to put House down to feel better about himself. A friend doesn't do that. I think that Wilson is an important part of the show, I hope he never leaves, but I do think that he is way over-rated. He's not half as nice as he seems.
