Confused

I just saw the season finale, and I'm unsure of what happened. So the whole lipstick thing was not real, and the lipstick was really the vicodin bottle? But then did they really sleep together or not? I knew Amber would be back though. But did she really ever leave? Or was that a hallucination too...
It reminds me of the last episode on Fringe when Walter was talking about deja-vu and other path choices.

Him in Cuddy slept together a long time ago, don't know when- some people differ on when, but they didn't the night he "detoxed" he was just hallucinating.

House is still messed up in the head.

Yes, i think everything was a hallucination from the time House told Cuddy he quit last week.....I had thought this might happen, but like everyone else, I secretly was hoping it was a dream, NOT a hallucination. Worse, i missed the beginning of the previous episode (under my skin), so NOW i can catch up because Fox will allow it to be shown on it's site here! Darn, now we have to wait for next season to find out about HOUSE. I think the producers kinda want to say, "Kids, don't do drugs. See where it might get you?!" 1  out of 1 found this valuable. I personally feel the hallucinations started in the episode after Kutner's suicide, if you want to watch the last 5 episodes back to back, Hulu.com lets you queue them in order and will play them back to back straight through. (and as someone "medically" addicted to vicodin, I have seen through out the past, now, 5 seasons that the producer's have always had the underlying message to young people that the use of drugs for any other reason than medical reasons is wrong. As well as a message to medical professionals to watch what they are handing out like candy to their patients. As I openly said, I am medically addicted to vicodin, taken for cronic pain, but monitored by my doctor not to take over the precribed amount per month.)
As for this season 5 cliff hanger, I feel that more than anything else, House emotional crash has more to do with the fact he "emotionally crashed", feeling responcible for Amber's death, feeling that though he showed open dislike/hate for his dad he actually was emotionally attached to him, the fact that deep down House did have a "thing" for Cameron (even if just hormone driven, I kept that PG-13 LOL, the fact that since day one House has felt a deep growing love and lust for Cuddy (if I recall right, the first mention of a House/Cuddy intimate relationship was brought up between the Volgler / Tritter and was brought up by Cameron, If my mind is rememering the order correctly, Cameron asked something infering the Cuddy had a deeper than mentoring relstionship.) BTW, www.hulu.com , is feel and a geat way to catch up on yor fav show's missed by school/work/vaction/even when you just sre too tired to warch them :)

It sort of confused me too. I ended up screaming at the TV for being illogical.
Buts its all true. House had just totally overdoesed on his Vicodin. Cuddy had never even come home with him in the first place. The lipstick was really just his minds way of looking at the drugs. He created his own fantasy to cover up what was really happening.

House and Cuddy have had a one night stand before. My guess is that his brain re-used that memory but twisted it a little bit.
Hope that was helpful!

I know when I saw the last 10 minutes of both sides no. i was very confused I had to pause my TV and think about it for a few minutes, me and my brother started to talk out what was going on. When it all added up it made a lot of sense.

As for the hallucinations they were i think as Amber told him, it was a side of his mind that we have never seen of him, the human side, the way he wants his life to play out without the vicodin and with Cuddy, But then there was the other part of his mind the one that we're used to the evil side. And as we saw it is the most powerful one, It is the one that wanted to show him what he wanyts and how it would play out. Only it tricked the human side into thinking that it was all actually happening.
