Discussion: No more Thirteen or Taub...what happens next?

Are you happy with these 2 leaving? or do you think they will be back?" We were told someone would be fired but will retain a different position on the show. We were also told by Shore that there will be no new cast members this season and with Cameron written off the show, Taub quits and thirteen fired. I don't know what the producers are thinking. House and a two person team? I'm biased so I'll leave it at that to avoid a potential arguement. I'm unhappy with "creative decisions." Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I can't imagine they'd write-off Cameron like that. She is a huge part of the show and now that she and Chase are married... it makes me wonder if they have something more in mind??? on NCIS they did that 2 seasons ago..they shocked everyone in the last 2 minutes of the season finale by firing the entire team. Then on the season premiere, it was all explained, team ended up being put back together again. It would be odd if they took a few steps forward to just take about 30 backwards.... I'm curious to see how this will play out and if they have a bigger picture in mind for Cameron but aren't saying. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

The producers call it a "creative decision". It is very weakly written that she may reurn in a later episode but expect her departure around episode 8. I can only hope they bring her back but there is much to be read about this circumstance in the "I love hameron" thread and "the current team thread" I'm a fan of the House origins and story lines but they were abandoned without resolution good or bad. I'm not that unhappy that Taub quit but even though I'm not a big fan of thirteen either, I think she was fired unjustly. They may have a bigger plan for Cameron. It was out last week that she would be written off but the way they do it goes against 'House' logic. There have been no statements from the actors that I know of so that in itself says they either don't know or do have a plan for Cameron. She is too popular in my opinion to be abandoned. TouchdownB	5. RE: No more Thirteen or Taub...what happens next? Sep 30 2009, 6:57 AM EDT I'm borderline enraged. I don't want anyone fired/removed if it means they aren't in the show anymore. Do you know how much of Season 5 revolved around Taub and Thirteen? What was the point of that now with this? Unless they can pull it off EXTREMELY well, to the point I can say "Doctor X" had a great run, akin to Kutner(but a little better than that), than I'll be satisfied. But I doubt that is the case with Cameron if she's leaving Episode 8. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Taub only quit because House was gone, he could come back when House does (would that be up to Cuddy or House, I wonder?). 13 wasn't really fired because she went behind Foreman's back, he fired her because they were not getting along while he was her boss and he wanted to keep the relationship...like a relationship is going to go well when the guy has just fired you from a job you love??? There are so many convoluted twists and backtracks with the casting in this show anymore who knows who really is in or out anyway, never mind what KJ and DS say at any given moment. I've decided to just ignore all the internet interviews and watch the show, see what the script says is going on and base what I think will happen on that. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I think they have lost their way or more so, goofed up last year or somehwere back in the last seasons by not staying the course. I hope I am wrong. Jesse Spencer is being tapped to be sexy like House and Omar Epps is being tapped to a jerk like House. So, basically too mini Houses. Frankly, I don't know what to think. I could care less if 13 or Dr T are gone..they'll be back. Oh, the agony..ugh! Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I like Jesse and he is an ok Doctor. I just wish that some of the old spark was still there. I am looking real hard to find something to fill in House time when the show goes completely to pot. The good thing is I actually have other shows to watch now. Before, all I watched was House and the Office, because I liked nothing else on TV. Now, I have other shows to watch and catch up on.
