1. RE: Do you think the producers will bring Morrison's character back?
Oct 28 2009, 10:10 AM EDT
"The producers of House seem hesitant to say that Morrison will be leaving the show permanently. Do you think they are getting cold feet about writing her out of the script?"No, she has already been written out but it is a very poor choice if they don't bring the character back fairly quickly. She is a very popular character and Jennifer is a such a talented, beautiful actress that poured everything she had into Cameron that the show would suffer if she's gone for good. I think she'll be back. The producers knew they had to split Cameron and Chase but they will have to think about what position they can fill with Cameron. This is all hypothetical of course but I just don't see Cameron being gone for good. We will have to watch for clues later this season because even though Jennifer remains under contract, they have been completely silent about her future on House. There is no mention of her at least through episode 11. Do you find this valuable? |

I hope so because if they do not bring her back the only strong female characters on the show will be Thirteen and Cuddy. That is of course if Thirteen manages to get unfired by House once he resumes as Head of his Department. If not there will just be Cuddy. As opposed to the male leads of House, Chase, Wilson, Foreman and possibly Taub. Seems kind of one sided doesn't it?

I think that important information concerning the plot has been leaked (http://housewiki.fox.com/thread/3399399/'House'+Plot+Leaks), so now the writers and actors have to tell they're hesitant or ignore what will happen with Cameron. But, in my opinion, they say that because they don't want more information to be revealed before upcoming episodes are aired on television. Given the unbelievable quality of the script, I seriously doubt they don't know yet what they'll do with such an important issue. I don't buy it. They say they're hesitant because they want us (spectators) to be so. I think that this is Cameron and Chase's season, so the plot will spin around them (Chase's subconscious punishing himself and Cameron's departure), but I figure they'll solve their problems by the end of the season. Anyone agrees? Do you find this valuable? |

"I just don't know......Cameron is the last character I would think they would want to write off. Knowing it's going to happen deeply disturbs me. I really do believe it when they say the script for the rest of the season isn't finished. I know they are through episode 11 and I haven't checked today but that was the last episode mentioned as of yesterday. These producers and writers have shown brilliance and utter ignorance at times. If they let Jennifer go, it will be another instance of ignorance. I believe we are literally going to have to wait and see. We have finally gotten Chase and Cameron back after years of bitching but then they slam us with terrible news and then become silent about the situation. I just can't see them being stupid enough to let JMo walk away unless it has to do with JMo and if that were the case, why would things be so silent? I'm baffled but do see your point. They better bring her back! Cameron is a totally necessary character! Without her the show will be extremely uneventful, I think. Anybody know the reason why Jennifer Morrison left the show?

Morrison is leaving the show, however, she is getting paid for the whole season so there is a chance that she will come back in a guest appearance.
